On arrival at school, all children access their classrooms from the external doors where their teacher will greet them. Children are encouraged to come into the classroom and settle into the day with the Registration time tasks ready and waiting for them.

The school day typically runs as follows which gives a weekly total of 32.5 hours:

08:50 - 09:10 Phonics & Reading

09:10 - 09:30 Collective Worship

09:30 - 10.30 Maths

10:30 - 10:45 Morning Break

10:45 - 11:45 Writing 

11:45 - 12:00 Spellings

12:00 - 13:00 Lunch

13:00 - 14:00 Afternoon Lesson 1 (including Science, Humanities, PE, Computing, RE, MFL, DT and the Arts) 

13:55 - 14:10 KS1 Only Afternoon Break

14:00 - 15:00 Afternoon Lesson 2 (including Science, Humanities, PE, Computing, RE, MFL, DT and the Arts) 

15:00 - 15:15 Class Reader

15:15  - School closes
